The camera and lens used to make this image were mortally wounded recently. I thought I would post something in memoriam.

It’s a funny thing. I got to tour with my favorite band in the world but none of my favorite images are of them being musicians. The most meaningful images were without fail the shots of them being human. Bert and I had just woken up on the bus in Denver. We stepped out to go in search of something that had recently become legal but shall remain nameless (pancakes maybe?). Anyway, we ran into this gentlemen on the corner next to the bus and Bert gave him a decent amount of money and chatted for a bit before asking for a photo. I love the music of The Used tremendously, but I love how they treat people even more.
